Yes and no: Many asthmatics seem to "outgrow" asthma around puberty. This is not a 100% certainty. It will depend on many factors particularly her allergy profile. Though the symptoms may diminish or seem to disappear in the next few years it may return down the road. Hard to tell. Talk it over with her pediatrician.

Hi, my 9 year old daughter is wheezing, coughing, constant chest pain, and has trouble breathing. She was negative for cf, and taking a asthma test.
Left side chest pain at rest, no pain during exercise, normal echo and ecg within normal limits, do suffer with mild asthma, also have gas problems.
I do not suffer with asthma(I don't think!) I find it hard to breathe what could this be? And painful burning when I cough and a tickle in my chest?
