It depends on severa: Several requirements for anything to be suspected as cancer. It has to be growing and forming a lump or considerable thickening of skin. Otherwise it is unlikly to be cancer. Cough is probably unrelalted to the skin lesion. A chest x-ray can help to romove any doubts about cancer in the chest/lungs.
