Orthostatic: Term for going to upright (from supine or lying) to sitting or to standing - if you are dehydrated or have low blood pressure for other reasons, or if you nervous and cardiovascular systems cannot compensate for the change to upright, you can experience the symptoms you describe. Have pcp check "orthostatic blood pressures and heart rate" for best recommendations. There could be other causes.
