Depends...: A very slow taper off Suboxone while using medications prescribed by your Suboxone prescribing md can help minimize symptoms of withdrawal. Medication often used include clonidine, seroquel, (quetiapine) vistaril. It helps also to participate regularly in na and/or individual/group therapy or other support system.

Yes: Under physician supervision, you can be weaned off Suboxone without withdrawal symptoms. The key is slow weaning process. If you develop some withdrawal symptoms, your doctor can slow down the weaning process or give you some medications to help you with those symptoms.
