Weaning off suboxone i am currently on 8mg of suboxone. im meeting w/ my dr next wk. any recommendations on how fast/ slow to taper?

Call yr doctor: While I am not a physician, I am a psychologist and work extensively with people who are getting off drugs and alcohol. I have seen those on Suboxone have an incredibly difficult time coming off it, and the taper that my addiction medicine md colleagues usually do with patients is usually very slow. If done too quickly, the withdrawal symptoms and cravings can contribute to relapse.
