Which triggers nose bleeds?

Nosebleeds: Nosebleeds are a common problem. There are multiple triggers. One of the most common is picking the nose. This happens in kids way more than in adults, but still occurs. Dryness is also very common. In cold climates, the colder it gets the less humid it becomes and this can lead to bleeding. Trauma, high blood pressure or bleeding disorders can lead to nosebleeds. Best to have an ENT look.

Bacterial & viral infections can ^ risk as well as bleeding disorders. Recurrent nose bleeds may be due to broken vessel in the nose. Alcohol / Cocaine abuse can cause nose bleeds, as can tumors.
