Love handles: You need to burn off more calories with exercise than the number of calories that you eat. Walking is not enough exercise. You need to get your heart rate up to a target rate for 20-40 minutes a few times a week, and stop eating sweets and carbohydrates. Core exercises for your midsection will tone you and help get rid of the handles and flatten your belly. Doing it in 2wks is tough though.
