More info: I think you have posted this to the general view. There are good pediatric ents in dallas - dr brown, orval e., md (children's medical center) would be an excellent resource. In children you have difficult sinus issues (abx aren't helping). The first step is usually removal of the adenoid tissue maybe even tonsils. If that doesnt work, balloon sinuplasty is a good next step.

Workup to date?: This is unfortunately somewhat common in some kids. Unless thease episodes are spaced out months apart, i generally have some food allergy testing done & use a variety of combination allergy/irritant meds. Foods allergy may seem unrelated but 2/3 of my recurrent sinusitis kids were eating stuff that made them drain. If >4y/o then airborn allergens also may have a significant role
