Plugged duct: You may have a plugged milk duct in the upper outer part of your left breast that has caused some inflammation. The lump could be the actual plugged duct or a swollen lymph node in response to the irritation. Try warm showers, frequent breast feeding and breast massage. Seek medical care if fever, increase pain, chills or feeling ill.
