Different in G and B: Girls can start pubertal development with breast budding as early as 8 years old. On average, they start around 10-11, sometimes 12. No breast budding by 13 is considered delayed. In boys, testes may start enlarging by age 9 years old. On average, they start around 11-12 years old, sometimes 13. No testicular enlargement by age 14 is considered delayed.
