What is the average age for boys to go through puberty?

10-15 yrs: Puberty happens at a wide range of ages and there are several stages. Most boys notice testicles getting bigger around 12-13 yrs (some sooner, some later). Pubic hair and penile growth occur between 11 -16, but usually 13-14yrs. Boys complete puberty around 16-18 yrs, some as young as 14 yrs. If you notice problems with puberty, talk with your pediatrician.
