Maybe/not: There are a few research studies that suggest it might, but the side effects of hair loss and loss of libido may slow adoption. Most studies involve recent onset cases due to meds, or other triggers rather than long term stable cases. Finding someone willing to use it in an unapproved indication may be difficult.
