Aerobic fitness: By far the most effective means will be to spend as much time as possible engaging in an aerobic fitness activity that you enjoy. I think that every physician here will agree that health and weight control don't come out of a pill bottle. If you can find a few fitness friends who'll support you in losing weight, so much the better.
