My wife has pink eye. i have a fresh (not expired) tube of erythromycin ophthalmic ointment. can she apply? if so, please advise on usage/dosage.

4x day: If you are sure the bottle/tip has not been contaminated it can be used 4x day. Ointment does blur the vision so patients are usu prescribed antibiotic drops for bacterial conjunctivitis.
