A few days: It usually starts feeling and looking better in 2-3 days. Be sure to follow up with your doc if not looking better by then or earlier if the symptoms worsen or the vision becomes effected. Eyes are precious and you need to be extra cautious with them.

Depends: Smaller abrasions can heal within a day or two, but larger abrasions can take up to a week. Once the abrasion heals, the redness should resolve. It's a reaction to the injury.
