Talk with the doctor: If the tooth poses a problem talk with your OB doctor and the oral surgeon extracting the tooth is not the problem but the local anesthetic or antibiotics may be.

Proper precautions: Your own dentist and you should consult with your obstetrician and decide whether or not the tooth should be removed now or if it would be better to wait until after you deliver. Sometimes the surgery can be postponed. If your obstetrician feels that it is advisable to remove the tooth now and proper standard precautions are taken, you should be fine.
