How long does it take to recover after wisdom tooth surgery?

Depends: It really depends upon how intrusive the surgery is. If the teeth are fully formed and infected, recovery can be prolonged. In general, most people are back to work the next day. Smokers run a higher risk of dry socket, which can form 72 hrs after surgery.

Depends: Depends on the difficulty of the surgery and how healthy you are. Some people feel great after 2-3 days, others take weeks or even months. In general, i advise people to take the next day off of work and to take it easy for about a week - no heavy lifting or exercise as increased blood pressure can lead to complications.
