End of Life: I am sorry to hear this and send my condolences. But, without any further information as to her condition, where she is, what other medications she is on and without any of her vital signs it is impossible to guess. I think that your medical team are providing for her appropriately and getting you ready for this loss.

Time is short: If her doctor is giving details such as this, it may be time to seek the help of hospice care. For many end stage diseases, hospice care actually improves and extends life!
