Not likely: A simple vaginal inspection can determine if a rough trans-vaginal us trauma caused the bleeding. It is unusual for this to happen. Was excessive bleeding for excessive days the reasons for the us?

Likely not.: Excessive menstrual bleed near menopause may suggest thick endometrial lining from hormonal influence, possible cancer (god forbid) , fibroids, ovarian cysts, blood disorder etc. Get reassurance from your gyn. May the good lord bless you and keep you!
