i'm 40. in the last 1 1/2 yrs when i am not menstruating and i.have a bowel movement i bleed from.my vagina. then.it goes away? what could cause that?

Poss rectal bleeding: Are you sure it's coming from your vagina? It may be bleeding from your rectum. You can put in a tampon next time and see if the bleeding it coming from there. I'd suggest you see a doctor to take a look.
