Antibiotics can: Neither Dulera (formoterol and mometasone) (momethasone/formoterol)nor adavir (fluticasone/salmeterol) are likely to cause yeast infections. Antibiotics taken by mouth are notorious for causing them. They kill, in addition to the bacteria that caused your infection, also the bacteria that normally live in the vagina, enabling candida (yeast) to multiply and cause infection.
