Muscle strain: A "groin pull" is a strained or injured muscle that can cause groin and testicle discomfort. Muscle strains do not likely cause hernias. Many places on the body can get muscle strain injuries, and the muscle heals. Hernias can also cause groin and testicle pain. Needs a physical examination to tell which you may have.
