Something is fishy!!: Your history and meds make me think you need a re-evaluation. If you have lower back pain or neck and shoulder issues and or headache ... You need a better work up to zero in on the issues. Wellbutrin (bupropion) usually kicks in within a couple weeks. It may take a month or so to reach a steady state to determine if it is the best medication for your system. For now focus on a wellness program, see handout.

Wellbutrin (bupropion): I think i answered this earlier today, but wellbutrin (bupropion) (like all antidepressants) requires 4-6 weeks to show its effects. If taking this for depression, people generally stay on it for 8-12 months; if all is well, doctor considers tapering. Hopefully symptoms don't recur -- but if they do, the medicine can be re-started. Psychotherapy is also an important part of treatment for depression.
