Can depression be helped by supplementing with amino acids?

No credible evidence: Like many supplements, Amino Acids have limited to no research evidence. Claims are based on speculation from other original research. There is real opportunity for neutral to negative effects by experimenting with supplements. Talk with your doctor about your sx &otc products you use /are considering. There are many treatments (including cognitive therapy) with strong evidence they work for many.
