What is the problem if having lower abdomen cramps and lower back pain but not having period?

?Pregnant?: The first thing us doctors are going to think when we see a young woman who has missed a period is: could she be pregnant? A pregnancy test is going to be the first order of business, and if that is negative then further workup may be warranted for the low back and abdominal symptoms. Good luck!
