Options: At your age, a fracture is almost certain to be healed after 15 months. X-rays and/or ct scan can diagnose the rare possibility of an unhealed fracture. Assuming the fracture is healed, then a workup would need to be done to evaluate where the persisting pain is coming from, i.e. ?Lumbar pathology. Hip bursitis is usually easily treated with anti-inflammatories and/or injections.

Depends: Depends on which bursa(e) are affected. Injection with a long acting, water-insoluble corticosteroid usually works.
