Longevity: You are doing well. Keep up with your healthy habits, exercise, proper diet, decreased stress, adequate sleep. To try to predict the length of your life, look at your parents, grandparents, and other relative. Remember, smoking, poorly controlled diabetes, accidents, and cancers may shorten someone's "genetic lifespan.' most children live to about the same age as parents, because of genes.

Life expectancy: For a healthy 70 yo male the life is 18 more years (88yo). Jama 2001;285:2750-2756 for you at 65 yo it could be 23 more years. Keep in mind issue as htn/dm/cholesterol, prior cancer (you or family), smoker or non-smoker, your family longevity, are stressed or postive. Keep the good work, preserve what you have. Life the present moment and you'll life forever.

Just an average: Some families are blessed with good genetics. It sounds like you have taken good care of yourself. Unless you experience trauma or cancer, you should keep doing well, and hopefully recover quickly from illness. Working in loma linda, I have cared for 85 year olds training for marathons. Enjoy your good health and keep up the good work!
