Pregnancy: If you have regular menstrual cycles, a pregnancy test will be positive soon after your missed period (1-3 days). Still, as you get older, you may have more irregular cycles or stop having periods entirely. I would check a urine pregnancy test if you are concerned at all and have a blood pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy.
