Dark Scars: The dark color in a scar may be due to sun exposure while the scar was still healing or could be due to foreign particles embedded in the skin eg. Abrasion injuries from asphalt cause traumatic tatooing. See a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to check out your treatment options.
