Ingrown toenails: Ingrown toenails, with the nail grows into and underneath the cuticle is usually due to the surrounding skin (cuticle) growing over the nail and/or improperly trimming or hygeine of the nail.

Many reasons: It could be from injury it could be from cutting your nails incorrectly, it could be from tight socks or tight shoes.
