Fissure diagnosed by dr, not seen it (just told my symptoms). had it years beforehand. i'm depressed, could it turn/be cancer too? go back to him?

Fissures are common: Having an anal tear or 'fissure' is a very common human experience. Having a fissure in no way represents any increased risk of cancer. If your doctor is not teaching you how to care for your fissure and to heal it then perhaps it is time to get a new physician.
