A member asked:

Can depression be a possible symptom of cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Only possible: While cancers can present variable depending on patient, type of cancer, areas involved and many things we don't understand, depression can result or be enhanced by a malignant process occurring. I'd caution though that there are more causes of depression unrelated to cancer than causes due to cancer. Talk to primary care doc as a start.
