Pinched nerve: Numbness is almost always caused by a pinched nerve. The nerve may be pinched at different points, i.e. In your neck (cervical radiculopathy) or in your arm (i.e. Carpal tunnel syndrome or cubital tunnel syndrome). If your symptoms persist i would certainly recommend evaluation by a physician to clarify the cause.
