A member asked:

I struggle with moderate anorexia. what could cause my low blood pressure, tachycardia, and dizziness as well as fatigue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anorexia: Low blood pressure, tachycardia, dizziness, and fatigue are all symptoms of volume contraction. If you're not drinking enough as a result of or independently of the anorexia, those symptoms will occur. Liberalize your salt intake (eat potato chips!), drink enough fluids to make your urine clear, and avoid alcohol and caffeine. See if that helps?
