Yes: This is called "mittelschmertz" (german for "miidle pain". It is caused by the ovum (egg) leaving the ovary into an inflamed oviduct (the tube that guides the ovum to the uterus. It may be associated with endometriosis. You need to be seen by an ob/gyn doc.
