Incision & drainage: Ruptured cysts can often be treated via an incision and drainage under local anesthesia. If the inflammation has resolved enough, a complete excision is sometimes possible and decreases the chances of recurrence of the cyst. Consult a plastic surgeon or dermatologist for evaluation of treatment options in your case.
