Many possible causes: The most common cause is due to aging, but a droopy eye lid could be caused by local inflammation, nerve disorders such as multiple sclerosis, muscle disorders such as myasthenia gravis, and a host of other diseases. See an ophthalmologist for evaluation of your eyelid droop.
