Many possibilities: Most children get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too many hours on the computer or phone, stress at school, etc... Over-the-counter treatments include Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin (ibuprofen), and their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, or one with other worrisome symptoms should be checked by her doctor.
