Varies: These type of questions are open ended, since fees vary from location to location and office to office. There are no set fees, just like there is no set price for a gallon of gas. But there is a range... $ 500 to $ 3000 per crown. I know this may not help you, but that is a reasonable range from main st, usa to park avenue, nyc.

Agree with Dr. D: Dr. Davantzis already gave you an excellent answer. Some of the factors are type of crown, type of practice (fee for service vs. Ppo\hmo etc.), location of office, experience, training and knowledge of dentist, overhead, etc. Remember to look for quality and not price. You will be happier in the long run.

Dental crown: Prices for dental crowns vary greatly in different parts of the country. They also vary based on if you have dental insurance. I would imagine that in your area, a crown is between $800-$1200 on average. Your portion may be much less if you have dental insurance. In some big cities like New York or Boston you might spend $1500-$2000 plus for a crown.
