Ortho Consult: Your question is somewhat confusing. Conventional Orthodontics with braces corrects most occlusal (bite) problems when you receive treatment by a qualified Orthodontist. Surgery is necessary when there are skeletal issues. If you see a local qualified Orthodontist, you can find out what can and cannot be done in your particular case and what would be the appropriate treatment options.

Probably not: Surgery will correct skeletal mal-relationships, but will not necessarily achieve a well functioning occlusion without Orthodontic care. Please talk to a qualified Orthodontic Specialist. He/she will evaluate your problem and help you decide on the best course of treatment. If surgical intervention is warranted, the Orthodontist will help you find the best Surgeon in your area for care.
