Fasting: If you are doing a fast for religious reasons, chewing gum is often not deemed acceptable. If you are fasting for health reasons or for weight loss - please re-think it. Water fasts can make you sick as well as reducing your metabolic rate. If you are going to fast consider a juice fast (with fresh organic vegetables & fruit). Take care.
