24 hours: If the ticks were on for less than 24 hours and there is no rash, you should be fine. Keep watching, though, because that target rash may sometimes not show up for days. Also helpful to know if deer tick or wood tick. Much higher rates of infection from deer ticks. Always check daily for ticks at end of day if you are out in woods or in areas with known tick disease!
