Use them as indicates every one to two hours to see if symptomatic relief occurs. Sunglasses may comfort you too. If no improvement you are obligated to see eye md to diagnose cause of your eye issues.

Need to see Dr.: red and sensitive eyes could be due to serious eye conditions like corneal ulcer, iritis, uveitis, etc... these cannot be treated at home.
