It depends: Mono is caused by the epstein-barr virus. It usually lasts a few weeks. The more rest you get the faster you will feel better. Eat a healthy diet with lots of water and juices. Follow the recommendations of your doctor. You can go back to work when you feel better. Sometimes it is better to get back slowly and work shorter hours or from home if possible. Listen to yur body.
