Carpal tunnel: This is probably related to carpal tunnel syndrome. Try wrist splints at night. If they do not help, see a rheumatologist or neurologist.

CTS: This could be carpal tunnel syndrone (entrapment nerve injury to the median nerve as it enters the palm). Static wrist splint, nsaid, physical therapy can help. If symptoms persist then an emg/ncs is recommended to confirm diagnosis (or rule it out) to guide possible steroid injection, oral med use or surgery. Good luck.
