Left foot?: I'll assume you're describing your left foot. Pain in the area is common after a sprain. If you have a history of an injury and you have pain, swelling and a bruise... Then you should have it looked at. If you just have mild pain on inverting your foot without anyother symptoms then i would give it some time to heal on its own.
