Not likely: Unfortunately, lymphedema is a chronic lifelong problem that can be controlled but probably never cured. There are some new micro surgical techniques that are showing some promise but they aren't a cure either. They are simply an additional treatment tool.

Lyphedema: There are surgical treatments now that can be used. My focus has been on worm who have developed lymohedema after mastectomy but who did not choose to have breast reconstruction. They can be evaluated for a breast reconstruction , lymph node transfer and lymphatic bypass surgery.
