A member asked:

What can you do to prevent hypoglycemic shock?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

By working with: Your entire diabetes team on an effective regimen of diet, exercise, weight loss (if needed), medication, monitoring, prevention, control of other risk factors etc. Make sure you're eating properly and not on an excessive dose or number of medications. Hopefully you're being followed by a competent endocrinologist. Hypoglycemic shock, as such, should be very very uncommon.
