A member asked:

What actually happens to your tissue or flesh during laser ablation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tissue removal: During laser ablation of your greater saphenous vein (treatment directed at improving your varicose veins) there is no tissue removal. The vein in question just sort of shrivels up right where it was. It is not removed.
