Yes: Remember, the area will be swollen and tender for several days after the injury. Also, be on the look out for possible infection - if the repair becomes "hot & red" as well as painful - seek medical attention.

Yes: Look for signs of infection /redness fever. Also make sure doc ruled out nerve and tendon injury. Call your doc.
